NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil Swatches

Hey Dolls!

I've missed you guys so much!

I apologize for the lack of bloggin I've been job hunting once again! Omg it feels like never ending I've been looking for a job for 2 months now but I do believe that God has a plan for everything so I will be paitent and wait to see what doors open up for me ;0)

Okay so on to the good stuff! Everyone and there momma knows what "milk" means and no Im not talking about the milk you drink! Lol Im talking about NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Milk. Im am hooked on these eyeshdow pencils. I first learned about them from youtube. I saw so, so, so many makeup grur using something called a milk pencil and I was curious to find out what it was.

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencils are creamy eyeshadow pencils that are used for Bases under your eyeshadow. They are also used as Bases under pigments and glitter too. If your unfimilar what a base is I have a previous post on Bases (Click here to see that post). They are also used to make your eyeshadow pop for instance if you using a Purple eyeshadow it will make your Purple more vibrant and bright.

NYX states that they do not crease but I have to be honest they do crease, so you have to use a Primer underneath them and make sure you blend them out really good. They are really creamy and can get messy when you apply them. Some people like to use there fingers to apply and others like to use a concealer brush.

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Penicls

They come in over 27 shades and they are super cheap. I buy mines from Cherryculture.com and play only $3.50 each but I also have heard that you can find them cheaper for as little as $2. You can also get them from nyxcosmetics.com

I have 8 of them, but I dont have my Brown one yet because Im waiting for it in the mail I just ordered it from cherryculture.com last week.

Black Bean- Creamy Black

Pots n Pans- Matte Silver

Gold- Frosty Gold

I really like the NYX Jumbo Pencils, my problem is they have the tendency to crease. I normally pile on a lot of primer before I use it! What kind of Primer do you use, I always read it, but I'm like --what's that! Lol. Slow, I know!

Have you tried Iced Mocha with Satin Taupe? I love that combo!!! :-)

@Tanisa
Thank you for the comment love ;0)

@Donna
that's my problem too they crease so certain ones I dont use like, the black bean. The frosty ones dont crease as much.
Lol sorry about that girl I should stop being lazy and type the whole thing out! The primer I use is Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Yes, I love pairing Iced Mocha with MAC Satin Taupe. I Love that combo too ;0)

You are not being lazy at all! (I never type out mine!) Lol! Now that you say that the acronym makes so much sense. I've never used it, but I thought about trying it, the packaging is so much better than Urban Decay's...

I feel you on black bean. I don't really wear it unless I am only wearing it for a little bit. I love using it as an eyeliner because its so pigmented!!! Of course I have to set it with black shadow.

Ok... Sorry for stalking your comments girl, you know how I get! Lol!

@Donna
Yeah I like the packaging better but I think Im going to go back to using UDPP because I've been using Too faced since '09 but now Im starting to notice some creasing, so when I run out I'm going back to UDPP.

It's okay! I stalk your comments too! Lol!

@Emy
Yeah I like the Black bean but if your going to use it you have to do a lot of preping before hand. Like make sure you have it blended out really good and make sure you use a good primer or else it will crease like nobody's business! Lol!
