Weight Loss Journey | Apple Cider Vinegar + How I take my Apple Cider Vinegar

Hey Dolls!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you how I take my apple cider vinegar and why I take it.

Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting the sugars from Apples. This then turns to acetic acid which is the active ingredient in vinegar. A study in obese patients showed that daily intake of vinegar led to reduced belly fat, waist circumference, lower blood triglycerides and weight loss.

Apple cider vinegar removed all my stomach bloat, decreased my appetite, helped me lose weight and made my waist slimmer. Studies have shown it can also lower blood pressure and your cholesterol.

I've always suffered with extreme belly fat and stomaching bloating. It was so embarrassing, because I would constantly get ask was I pregnant. Prime example of the photo above. This was my nieces birthday party. I thought wearing black would hide my stomach but it didn't. I got ask numerous times at her party was I pregnant. I was no where near pregnant but my stomach was extremely round and large.

I began taking apple cider vinegar in January 2017 and just 3 weeks later I notice a huge change.
{I'm wearing the same shirt in both pictures}

By June 2017 my stomach was the flattest it's ever been.
My belly fat decreased and no more bloat.

I drink my apple cider vinegar two ways. One is my shot. I call it a shot because I'm literally taking it on the go and take it like a shot. I usually prep it the night before and drink it rushing out the door or I even drink it on my way to school. The second way I drink it is in a coffee cup. I make them both the same way. I like to sip on it and take my time drinking it when I'm at home so I prefer a mug and I like to add chia seeds to it or flaxseeds.

Here's how I make my Apple cider vinegar:

What I use:
8oz {1 cup} of warm water
2 tbsp. of Apple cider vinegar
Fresh squeezed Lemon juice
Chia seeds (optional}
Flaxseeds {optional}
Ground Cinnamon or cinnamon sticks {optional}

How I make it:
I take 1 cup of water and warm it up for 30 seconds in the microwave. I don't make it too hot to drink just a little warm. After heating up my water I add 2 tbsp. of Apple cider vinegar and begin to stir. I then take half of a lemon and squeeze fresh lemon juice and stir again.

That's it! It literally takes less than 60 seconds to make.

If I plan on using chia seeds or any other seed I add 1 tsp and stir. If I'm using ground cinnamon I just add a dash of cinnamon and if I plan on using a cinnamon sticks I then boil my water on the stove and add 1 cinnamon stick.

Make sure where purchasing Apple cider vinegar it must say, "MOTHER" on it. Always read your labels. The only Apple cider vinegar I use is BRAGG's Apple cider vinegar. I've been using it for a year now and notice a decease in my belly fat, stomach bloat, my appetite, and I have more energy.

Warning: Do not drink Apple cider vinegar alone, always dilute the vinegar with water or you will burn your esophagus and the enamel on your teeth will ruin. I can't stress that enough.

Beauty | Valentine's Day Makeup

Hey Dolls!

Happy Galentine's Day Dolls! I wish I had Girlfriends because I would love to get together for brunch and celebrate Galentine's day, but I have only two good friends and they live far.

Anywhos, I wanted to share with you guys my Valentine's Day makeup. I originally planned on keep it simple but then I decided to bust out some glitter. I've had this glitter sample for years now and I never used it. It's a gorgeous Red Black glitter and I thought it would be perfect for Valentine's day.

MAC Reflects Blackened Red Pigment

Here a swatch of it on the back of my hand:

I also used a new pair of lashes. I always wear Ardell Demi Wispies, but I got these on sale at CVS so I was like why not try something new.

I took 1,000 photos and didn't like a single one of them. But that's what I get for using my camera phone and not my camera and for being lazy and not going outside in natural lighting. I hate you can't really see the glitter in the photos. It was so pretty and I actually liked my hair that day too. Disappointed in my photos I took to Snapchat to have a little filter fun. I definitely plan on wearing this glitter very soon because it was Gorgeous!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope your day is filled with laughter, joy, and most importantly Love!

Weight Loss Journey | Transformation Tuesday

Hey Dolls!

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Transformation Tuesday!

I use to see so many woman post on Instagram their before and after pictures and I use to always say to myself I wish I could do that. I wasn't brave enough to post my photos in the beginning. I hated how much weight I gained. Every Tuesday, came and I would make a photo collage and never post it. Then one Tuesday, I decided that I was no longer that 'before' picture and that 'before' picture doesn't represent who I am now, but a reflection of where I started and who I was before.

I finally did it!
I posted it!

May 1, 2017 I posted my first Transformation Tuesday post.

When I posted my first transformation Tuesday post I got so much feed back, so many encouraging comments. It touched my heart to see so many people rooting for me and following my weight loss journey. I was always the one liking and commenting on everyone else's transformation Tuesdays, always afraid to post my own, but too see their before and after photos truly encouraged me on my journey. It helped me stay focus and helped me crush my goals one by one. I now look forward to my Transformation Tuesday post. It shows how far I've come and it shows me that if I can achieve weight loss victory I can achieve anything.

Here is my current Transformation Tuesday post. I hope my Transformation Tuesday post encourage you as well and help you along on your journey. I no longer say, Before and After because I haven't recreached my after just quit yet. I still have more goals to crush and more transforming to do. No matter if your transforming your weight, your style, your home, your career, your inner self just continue to strive and never give up. Never give up on your goals or your desires. I once gave up on myself and lost myself, but now I put myself, my goals, and my dreams first and I want you all to do the same.

I Love you guys!

Look of the Day | Denim & Black + Gray Nails

Hey Dolls!
February is one of my favorite months. So many things to be celebrated. My Mommy's birthday, Valentine's Day, Black History month and Mardi Gras. Ya'll know I'm from Louisiana, so I definitely got to celebrate my roots and who doesn't love a Mardi Gras celebration. Also the Black Panther movie premiers this month. I'm a huge superhero fan and so excited for this movie to come out and what better month for the Black panther to premier than Black History Month. I'm excited and all for it! I can't wait to share my Look of the Day for the movie premier.

I'm excited to be sharing my first Look of the Day since forevaaaa. It's been a while since I shared one with you dolls. If your a newbie, then your probably wondering what the heck is a LOTD. LOTD is when I share from head to toe my entire look, from my makeup to what I'm wearing to what's on my nails. To be honest, these post use to make me cringle because I didn't feel confident in the past. But I'm more confident than ever and excited to start putting together looks.

I've been trying to work real hard on my style. I cleaned out my clothes, donated and gave away a lot of things I know longer could fit or had use for and I'm starting little by little to shop for new clothing. It's so silly, but while shopping for a shirt I took a picture of my list and saved it on my screensaver so while shopping I knew what things I was suppose to be looking for. Trust me when I say it was extremely helpful. I didn't purchase anything black or a cover up. One of the things on my list was to find more denim pieces and I found a really pretty denim top the other day. I was extremely excited too because I got it for $10.00 on clearance at Marshalls. I've been finding a lot of great pieces on clearance at Marshalls these past couple of weeks. I decided to pair the denim top with my favorite black jeans from Forever 21.

We had a birthday dinner to celebrate my brother-in-love's birthday, so I decided to break out my new Denim top. Here's all the details to my look.
