Beauty | New Year's Eve Makeup

Hey Dolls!

My first makeup post of 2018!

As promised I still plan to post my makeup looks and products I use. I had stopped doing my makeup for a long period of time but when I do get a chance to beat my face it's such a liberating experience for me. Doing my makeup excits me and gives me a sense of calmness all at the same time. When doing my makeup I love to pray, sip on some hot tea or listen to music.

I'm a 90's R&B girl so that's what I love to listen to when doing my makeup.

Every New year's eve for the past 6 years I always wear glitter. I love glitter.

I have tons of glitters and hardly ever wear them but faithfully every year I wear glitter eyeshadow bringing in the new year.

It seems like I now only do my makeup for holidays and that's sad to say. But it's 2018, a new year, and new goals so I plan to challenge myself and try to wear makeup at least once a week.

{side note: I seriously need to work on my blending. I use to have my blending down pack but lately I have not been feeling it.}

My Weight Loss Journey | I lost over 30 lbs!

Good morning Dolls!

Happy Saturday!

It's 7:30 am and my little cubs are still asleep so I have time to blog.

I want to address a BIG issue that was holding me back for years.

No matter how much makeup I wore or put on I couldn't hide the fact I was overweight.

Overweight and disappointed in myself that I let myself get that big.

I'm always planning and meal prepping my sons meals but I never took the time to care about my own nutrition. When the boys would go to sleep at night I would sneak and eat Hot Cheetos, Ice creams, Oreos, you name it. I would eat everything.

I finally thought to myself if I don't allow my boys to eat junk then why do I do it to myself.

Just as much as I care about my sons nutrition I need to care about mines.

I knew I had to make a lot of changes.

No more late night eating, no more junk food and fast food, no more overeating.

I first started my weight loss journey in 2016. I lost 13 lbs.

But than I later gained it all back.

In January 2017, I started all over again and this time I was more consistent and dedicated.

From my heaviest weight of 200 lbs to 165 lbs.

I still have a long way to go, but I'm determined to get there!

I will definitely be sharing healthy meals, my meal preps, all about fitness, healthy tips, what I did to lose over 30 pounds, and so much more!

I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday.

Lifestyle | My 2017 Vision Board that changed my Life!

Last year my Mom held a vision board party in her home and it was life changing for me. When I was creating my vision board I thought about all the things I wanted to do and what I want to achieve and accomplish. I didn't want to leave anything out. I really wanted to plant my vision on this board and watch it come to pass little by little. I felt in my spirit this is my year and I WILL follow my dreams.

For years I was unhappy. I wasn't achieving any of my goals and I wasn't doing anything to achieve my dreams and goals. In fact after I got married I felt like I put my whole life on hold just to please a man. I stopped working, I stopped going to school, and I stopped doing things I enjoy like blogging and doing my makeup. I became miserable and invisible. I know I had to make a lot of changes. I knew I had to change my entire life. I was in an unhealthy and unhappy marriage, I had two small children, a part time job, no confidence or self love, and I was extremely overweight.

Here is the vision board I created:

1. Wake up early and Pray more
2. I wanted to make myself a priority.
3. Work on my inner self and outer self
4. Lose weight and change my eating habits
5. Gain confidence and develop self love
6. Work on my fashion and style {because I definitely didn't have one}
7. Take my sons to Disneyland for the first time
8. Get my driver license and own my first car
9. Go back to school and become a teacher
10. Start my own business
11. Travel

I kept my vision board in my eyesight all last year and begin to work on things little by little.

I'm still working on my vision little by little.

I pray daily and spend more time with my Father, I make myself a priority now, and I definitely have worked on my inner self and outer self, I lost over 30 pounds and have made a drastic change in my eating. I've gained more than confidence and self love. I gained Happiness. I actually go shopping now and buy myself clothes. I got on a plane for the first time and traveled to DC. And last but not least I went back to school.

I haven't accomplished everything on my vision board but I definitely will!

Creating my vision board changed my Life!

A change I absolutely LOVE!

Happy New Year 2018

Happy New Year Dolls!

Omg! I've missed you dolld so much.

I miss blogging!

I have 3 blogs:

My Mama Blog: where I blog about being a Mama of twin cubs
My Party Blog: Where I blog about all things related to Party Planning
My Makeup Blog: related to all things beauty

and I haven't blogged since 2015. Why did I let so much time go by without blogging when it's something I love to do.

This blog use to be my baby and I would spend so much time here.

I feel like I neglected my baby and I neglected my followers.

Over the past 2 years, I definitely neglected my makeup blog and neglected myself, but for the past year I've been working on myself inside and out.

For years, I was unhappy and would always hide behind makeup but this wildflower is no longer hiding anymore.

I'm growing and glowing!

I'm blossoming into a Woman.

A woman who is learning to love herself with the makeup and without the makeup.

I'm learning to love the skin I'm in and I would love for you to join me on my new journey in life.

I promise to still post about makeup and cosmetics that has always been the meat and potatoes of my blog, but now I plan to go deeper.

From natural hair to beauty. From fitness to Food. From fashion to DIYs.

There will be something here for everyone.

I miss you dolls so much and so happy to be back!
