FOTD: Thanksgiving Makeup fail

Happy Thanksgiving Dolls!

I hope you all have a delicious and wonderful time with family and friends.

For Thanksgiving, I had planned on wearing Burgundy eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick try doing a monochrome makeup look. However it didn't come out like that lol. I seriously dislike my flash. It always washes out or alternate the colors I'm wearing. It made my burgundy eyeshadow look purple and my burgundy lipstick look red, so the look I was going for Thanksgiving didn't come out exactly how I wanted it. Don't get me wrong it was a Thanksgiving makeup fail, but a good fail because I still loved how my makeup turned out.

Finally Sunburned!!!

Hey Dolls!

I finally got my hands on one of the Wet n Wild Color Icon palettes. I know I'm soooooo late! I haven't brought Makeup in over a whole year and I'm now trying to get back in the swing of things. I'm pretty sure you all have seen the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio Palettes and I know tons of people have all 8 of them, well me on the other hand I just purchased my 1st one.

Best Fall Lipsticks & Lipglosses: Swatches Part 1

As promised here are the swatches to my Fall Lipsticks & Lipglosses. This was my first attempt at Lip swatch and Man are they UGLY!!! hahaha you can see all my peach fuzz! I not to sure if my lips are cut off for Lip swatches. I think I'm going to just keep swatching on my arm.

FOTD: Silver Eyes with Pinky Plum Lips

Hey Dolls!

How are all you lovely ladies? I hope all are blessed. This is my FOTD from Sunday for church. I always where the same boring lip colors, peach or nude. So I wanted to change it up a little bit. I decided to wear a pale pink lip with a Plum lipliner. I loved the way it came out and hopefully since Fall is right around the corner I can get more bolder with my lip colors.

I love these earrings. My husband brought them for me and I want to wear them so bad but every time I put them on they never go with what I'm wearing....

....So I had to take them off! Sorry Hubby!

Requested Look: My Everyday Makeup

A couple days ago one of my lovely new followers that goes by the name of merve asked me to do a post of my everyday makeup. So, here it goes! I was so excited to do this post because it's my first requested look ;0)

I dont wear makeup everyday, but I decided to show you how my makeup would look if I did wear makeup everyday.

My Everyday Makeup

Face

I'm wearing Revlon Colorstay liquid Foundation in Cappuccino and for my face powder I have on MAC Studio fix in NW45 or IMAN Oil blotting Pressed Powder in Deep.

Cheeks

On my cheeks for my everyday blush I always wear MAC Raizin Blush

Eyes

I just line my eyes with e.l.f brightening eye pencil in Black and I always apply Maybelline mascara

Lips

I usually wear any random lipgloss, It changes from time to time. I usually were MAC Mad Cap lipglass or MAC Viva Glam V Lipglass. But in the picture I have on MAC Pop Mode Lipglass.

That's all! It's pretty easy and simple!

Maybelline ColorSensation Lipsticks

Hey Dolls!

How are ya'll doing? I hope great ;0)

I wanted to share some great lipsticks that I have been loving! I've been hooked on these lipsticks for some time now and I cant seem to put them down. Maybelline has created these great lipsticks called ColorSensation Lipsticks.

They come in 48 shades and I own 5 of them. (I definitely plan on buying more lol)Maybelline ColorSensation Lipcolors are broken down into 4 categories: Neutrals, Pinks, Plums, and Reds. I purchased Totally Toffee, Mauve-ulous, Hooked on Pink, Very Cherry, and Red Revival.

What I love about these lipsticks...

WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, the color in the tube is the same extact color you get on your lips.

The honey nectar in the lipsticks truly make them the creamiest lipsticks I've ever tried.

The staying power is okay, they don't stay on forever but the longest I've had it on was 2 hours.

They glide on your lips for a sheer coverage, but you can also build up the coverage.

I also like that the tops are the colors based off the color family they are from. I think that is so cute ;0)

Totally Toffee

The color I purchased from the "neutral" category is called Totally Toffee, which is a beige-pink color.

Mauve-ulous



I purchased a shade in the "Plum" category called Mauve-ulous, which is a light Plum color.

Hooked on Pink



From the "Pink" category I purchased Hooked on Pink, which is a hot pink color.

Very Cherry



The shade I purchased from the "Red" category is called Very Cherry, which is a Bright red color.

Red Revival



I purchased a second red from the "Red" category called Red Revival, which is the perfect red.

MakeupDoll's 10,000 Subscriber Contest Entry

Hey Dolls!

One of my favorite makeup guru from Youtube hit 10,000 subscriber a couple of months ago.

Congratulations MakeupDoll! ;0)

And to celebrate she was having a contest. For the look she wanted a Bold lip, winged eyeliner, false lashes and contoured face. Unfortunly I missed her contest but I still wanted to post my look. This was going to be my entry look for her contest.





Makeup Breakdown

EYES
I first applied Too Faced Shadow Insurance to my entire lid for my primer. Then I applied a light pink eyeshadow called Boy Toy from Too Faced Shadow Insurance policy palette to the inner half of lid and applied the purple eyeshadow from L’Oreal HIP eyeshadow dup in Sculpted to the lid.

I followed by applying MACs Fig 1 to the outer v and working up into the crease. In the crease I than applied MACs Swiss Chocolate. To deepen up the outer v I used MACs Carbon eyeshadow.

My brow bone was highlighted with MACs Arena eyeshadow.

I finished off the look with liquid eyeliner, mascara, and some lashes.

FACE
I applied my cream foundation (MACs Studio Tech) and finish it with powder (MACs Studio Fix). Also applied MACs msf natural in Deep Dark to the entire of my face. To contour my cheeks I used a foundation stick darker than my skin tone (IMAN Foundation stick). I brushed on a deep Plum blush (MACs Loverush).

LIPS
Lippy combo: Rimmel Lipstick in Burgundy Lustre and MACs Rebel Lipstick
