FOTD: Thanksgiving Makeup fail

Happy Thanksgiving Dolls!

I hope you all have a delicious and wonderful time with family and friends.

For Thanksgiving, I had planned on wearing Burgundy eyeshadow and burgundy lipstick try doing a monochrome makeup look. However it didn't come out like that lol. I seriously dislike my flash. It always washes out or alternate the colors I'm wearing. It made my burgundy eyeshadow look purple and my burgundy lipstick look red, so the look I was going for Thanksgiving didn't come out exactly how I wanted it. Don't get me wrong it was a Thanksgiving makeup fail, but a good fail because I still loved how my makeup turned out.

 I love you dolls so much and we made it through another year! I just hope ya'll continue giving me the same support and Love ya'll gave me through all my years of blogging. Makeup Challenge Day 4: Dark Fall Lips

Happy Sunday!

I had Communion tonight at church and today's makeup Challenge was Dark Fall lips. I didn't really want to wear a red lipstick to church so I opted for a purple. I wanted to do a nude eye but at the last minute I said what the heck it's going to be dark maybe no one will notice my dark eyes and dark lips. Boy! was I ever wrong Lol

Nene Leaks Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine Inspired Makeup

Hey Dolls!

This FOTD is from September 29  I'm sad to say I haven't really been wearing makeup the month of October. I think I've worn make up like maybe 2 times in October :( I've been so drained and Busy!
But Anywhoos.... It was a Saturday and I finally had some free time so I wanted to play in my makeup. I recently got the new Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine with Nene Leakes on the cover and I spotted Purple eyeshadow. I have a weakness for Purple! Ya''ll know I love purple and I'm starting to think I have a serious problem because now I want purple hair. Well not the whole thing purple just my tips. ;0)

My Birthday Makeup: Glitter Purple Eyes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 

Hello Dolls!

On September 8 I officially turn 26 years old. For my makeup I wanted to wear some purple eye shadow of course and I wanted to add some glitter!!! This was my first time using glitter in a look.

I didn't really get very many full face pictures of my makeup, so here are some taken from photos of my birthday celebration. You can't see the glitter in the pictures but I loved the way it came out and everyone kept saying that my eyes were sparkling all night. :0)

FOTD & OOTD: Shimmered Purples with a Maxi

Hey Dolls!

How are ya'll doing? I hope feeling Fabulous :0) On Saturday I attended a bridal shower, so I decided to wear purple eyeshadow but I wanted to change it up a bit since I wear purple so much, so I paired it with a shimmery Black base with Lavender sparkles in it. And I loved the way it came out.

I want to apologize in advance for the pictures. It was 112 degrees outside on Saturday and as soon as I stepped outside I began to sweat like crazy. I was literally outside for 2 seconds, so sorry for the horrible pictures and these are the only 2 that looked the best. I love wearing dresses all Summer long so I wore a Black Maxi dress with a huge purple flower at the bottom. I just love this dress :0)

Kandi Burruss "Haven't Loved Right" Inspired Makeup

I was so excited to here Kandi Burruss was coming out with her own CD. I've always been a fan of her ever since she was in the group Exscape. I remember when me and my sisters were younger we would always dress up at my Auntie's house and put on talent shows and we would perform Exscape songs. My favorite song to sang and perform was "Your my little secret". Looking back it was so fun and hilarious. But anywhos... Kandi has came out with a song called "Haven't Loved Right". It's a really touching song that I really enjoy listening to it, so I decided to recreate her makeup from the video. She had a combination of purples and a soft neutral lip. And ya'll know I love Purple eyeshadows so I definitely had to do this look.
