Nene Leaks Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine Inspired Makeup

Hey Dolls!

This FOTD is from September 29  I'm sad to say I haven't really been wearing makeup the month of October. I think I've worn make up like maybe 2 times in October :( I've been so drained and Busy!
But Anywhoos.... It was a Saturday and I finally had some free time so I wanted to play in my makeup. I recently got the new Sophisticate's Black Hair Magazine with Nene Leakes on the cover and I spotted Purple eyeshadow. I have a weakness for Purple! Ya''ll know I love purple and I'm starting to think I have a serious problem because now I want purple hair. Well not the whole thing purple just my tips. ;0)
 Well, I tried to do my makeup similar to Nene's and here's what I came up with.

FOTD: Inspired Makeup from Love & Hip Hop ATL Rasheeda

Hey Dolls!

I hope everyone is doing Great and had an Awesome Labor day weekend! 

I'm so excited my 26th Birthday is tomorrow and I cant wait to share with you dolls my B-day Makeup, because last year I didn't even wear makeup for my birthday, so this year I'm definitely going all out.... Glitter, Lashes, and all!! :0)

Anywhos, A couple of days ago I wanted to just play around in my makeup. The weather has cool down a lot so I'm trying to make up for the lack of makeup I did not wear the whole summer.

I saw a picture of Rasheeda from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and I really love the Turquoise color she had on her lower lash line (Turquoise is one of my favor colors!) so I want to give it a try but put my own spin on it. I add some turquoise glitter to my lower lash line and for my lips I want to try and create an Ombre effect on my lips. And it also gave me an opportunity to try out some of my new L'Oreal 24hr Infallible eyeshadows.

For my makeup I did not use a yellow eyeshadow at first because I wanted to use a more natural look on my lid and  for my lips I did  not copy Rasheeda's same lip color, I did my own thing! So my look is not entirely like Rasheeda's. I just used her picture as an inspiration.

Toya Carter Inspired Copper Makeup

I decided to recreate Toya Cater's copper makeup that she wears on her show, Tiny & Toya. I absolutely love the Tiny & Toya show and I'm sad there is not going to be a season 3 :-/ So, here's the look I came up with and I even put on a orange ruffle shirt and gold earrings just like Toya wears on the show. Celebrity Inspired Makeup: Tia Mowry's Peachy Glow

Hey Dolls!

How is everyone doing? I hope F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!
This week is my last week of Summer School and I cant wait until it's over. lol

I saw this picture of Tia Mowry and loved her makeup. It’s a simple smokey eye and I love to wear a smokey eyes but that’s not what caught my eye. I loved how her cheeks looked! On her cheeks it looked like a combonation of Peach, Gold, and Bronze. It was so gorgeous and made her face glow. So, I wanted re-create that same look on my cheeks. I was nervous at first because I don’t like shimmer on my face and when you have oily skin and blemishes on your face, shimmer can make them stand out more. But when I wore this look out everyone asked me what blush I have on. So I guess all in all the look was a success.

On my cheeks:
I first used Wet n Wild Bronzer in Bali Bronze (a light copper color with shimmer) on my cheeks. Than I applied MAC Raizin Blush (a reddishbrown peachy color) on the apples of my cheeks and I used MAC Dreammaker eyeshadow (a shimmery gold) as a highlight. I than took a clean Blush brush and blend the three together, so there wouldn’t be any harsh lines.
