Weight Loss Journey | Apple Cider Vinegar + How I take my Apple Cider Vinegar

Hey Dolls!

Today I'm going to be sharing with you how I take my apple cider vinegar and why I take it.

Apple cider vinegar is made by fermenting the sugars from Apples. This then turns to acetic acid which is the active ingredient in vinegar. A study in obese patients showed that daily intake of vinegar led to reduced belly fat, waist circumference, lower blood triglycerides and weight loss.

Apple cider vinegar removed all my stomach bloat, decreased my appetite, helped me lose weight and made my waist slimmer. Studies have shown it can also lower blood pressure and your cholesterol.

I've always suffered with extreme belly fat and stomaching bloating. It was so embarrassing, because I would constantly get ask was I pregnant. Prime example of the photo above. This was my nieces birthday party. I thought wearing black would hide my stomach but it didn't. I got ask numerous times at her party was I pregnant. I was no where near pregnant but my stomach was extremely round and large.

I began taking apple cider vinegar in January 2017 and just 3 weeks later I notice a huge change.
{I'm wearing the same shirt in both pictures}

By June 2017 my stomach was the flattest it's ever been.
My belly fat decreased and no more bloat.

I drink my apple cider vinegar two ways. One is my shot. I call it a shot because I'm literally taking it on the go and take it like a shot. I usually prep it the night before and drink it rushing out the door or I even drink it on my way to school. The second way I drink it is in a coffee cup. I make them both the same way. I like to sip on it and take my time drinking it when I'm at home so I prefer a mug and I like to add chia seeds to it or flaxseeds.

Here's how I make my Apple cider vinegar:

What I use:
8oz {1 cup} of warm water
2 tbsp. of Apple cider vinegar
Fresh squeezed Lemon juice
Chia seeds (optional}
Flaxseeds {optional}
Ground Cinnamon or cinnamon sticks {optional}

How I make it:
I take 1 cup of water and warm it up for 30 seconds in the microwave. I don't make it too hot to drink just a little warm. After heating up my water I add 2 tbsp. of Apple cider vinegar and begin to stir. I then take half of a lemon and squeeze fresh lemon juice and stir again.

That's it! It literally takes less than 60 seconds to make.

If I plan on using chia seeds or any other seed I add 1 tsp and stir. If I'm using ground cinnamon I just add a dash of cinnamon and if I plan on using a cinnamon sticks I then boil my water on the stove and add 1 cinnamon stick.

Make sure where purchasing Apple cider vinegar it must say, "MOTHER" on it. Always read your labels. The only Apple cider vinegar I use is BRAGG's Apple cider vinegar. I've been using it for a year now and notice a decease in my belly fat, stomach bloat, my appetite, and I have more energy.

Warning: Do not drink Apple cider vinegar alone, always dilute the vinegar with water or you will burn your esophagus and the enamel on your teeth will ruin. I can't stress that enough.

Weight Loss Journey | Transformation Tuesday

Hey Dolls!

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Transformation Tuesday!

I use to see so many woman post on Instagram their before and after pictures and I use to always say to myself I wish I could do that. I wasn't brave enough to post my photos in the beginning. I hated how much weight I gained. Every Tuesday, came and I would make a photo collage and never post it. Then one Tuesday, I decided that I was no longer that 'before' picture and that 'before' picture doesn't represent who I am now, but a reflection of where I started and who I was before.

I finally did it!
I posted it!

May 1, 2017 I posted my first Transformation Tuesday post.

When I posted my first transformation Tuesday post I got so much feed back, so many encouraging comments. It touched my heart to see so many people rooting for me and following my weight loss journey. I was always the one liking and commenting on everyone else's transformation Tuesdays, always afraid to post my own, but too see their before and after photos truly encouraged me on my journey. It helped me stay focus and helped me crush my goals one by one. I now look forward to my Transformation Tuesday post. It shows how far I've come and it shows me that if I can achieve weight loss victory I can achieve anything.

Here is my current Transformation Tuesday post. I hope my Transformation Tuesday post encourage you as well and help you along on your journey. I no longer say, Before and After because I haven't recreached my after just quit yet. I still have more goals to crush and more transforming to do. No matter if your transforming your weight, your style, your home, your career, your inner self just continue to strive and never give up. Never give up on your goals or your desires. I once gave up on myself and lost myself, but now I put myself, my goals, and my dreams first and I want you all to do the same.

Weight Loss Journey | Daily Eating Schedule at Home

Hey Dolls!

Today I plan to share with you in detail what a typical day starts for me. I get asked this time and time again on Instagram, "Do you take your apple cider vinegar in the morning?" or "When do you drink your green tea?" "How many times a day do you eat?"

Well today I plan to answer your questions of how my daily routine works.

First thing first, before I eat or drink anything I always weight myself in the morning.

After weighing myself I then take my apple cider vinegar shot. You want to take your apple cider vinegar before you eat or drink anything. Click here to see how I make my apple cider vinegar shot.

After taking my apple cider vinegar I then eat breakfast.

After breakfast, I drink my green tea with matach. Sometimes I even drink it during breakfast.

After drinking my tea, I take my vitamins and I immediately start drinking my water. It's very important to get your water intake in early.

If I leave the house I normally make a lunch bag with food and snacks to take on the go. This will avoid you from eating unhealthy and will keep you focused on your goals.

If I don't plan on leaving the house I then will eat lunch at home.

After lunch I just continue to drink my water throughout the day.

I'll usually have a snack in between lunch and dinner but nothing too big.

Next is Dinner time. I eat dinner between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. I don't eat after 8:00pm.

After I eat dinner, I then drink my detox tea before bed. Sometimes I'll have another cup of green tea if I don't have my detox tea.

That's pretty much my daily routine and schedule of my eating. It changes from day to day. This day I was home the entire day working on my boutique, so I was pretty on point with my meals. I start back school in less than a month so my eating schedule will be different. I will post an update of my eating schedule when I start back school.

What are some of your daily schedules and routines you follow throughout the day?

My Weight Loss Journey | I lost over 30 lbs!

Good morning Dolls!

Happy Saturday!

It's 7:30 am and my little cubs are still asleep so I have time to blog.

I want to address a BIG issue that was holding me back for years.

No matter how much makeup I wore or put on I couldn't hide the fact I was overweight.

Overweight and disappointed in myself that I let myself get that big.

I'm always planning and meal prepping my sons meals but I never took the time to care about my own nutrition. When the boys would go to sleep at night I would sneak and eat Hot Cheetos, Ice creams, Oreos, you name it. I would eat everything.

I finally thought to myself if I don't allow my boys to eat junk then why do I do it to myself.

Just as much as I care about my sons nutrition I need to care about mines.

I knew I had to make a lot of changes.

No more late night eating, no more junk food and fast food, no more overeating.

I first started my weight loss journey in 2016. I lost 13 lbs.

But than I later gained it all back.

In January 2017, I started all over again and this time I was more consistent and dedicated.

From my heaviest weight of 200 lbs to 165 lbs.

I still have a long way to go, but I'm determined to get there!

I will definitely be sharing healthy meals, my meal preps, all about fitness, healthy tips, what I did to lose over 30 pounds, and so much more!

I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday.
