This girl is on Fire!!! {Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm Review & Swatches}
Hey Dolls!
I just love Alicia Keys new song, "Girl Is On Fire" It has Woman Power all over it! And when I wear Red lips I defiantly feel powerful. My baby sister brought this lipstain from Revlon and as soon as she tried it on she HATED it! Lol
She asked me did I want it and I said, "Is it Red?"
If it's Red I defiantly wanted it because Red lips are my favorite! It didn't come out a bold Red but I still loved the way it looked on me. Here are some photos and a mini review.
How are all ya'll doing? I hope FABULOUS!

FOTD & Lippie Review: Shimmery Walnut Eyes with Violet Lips
Hey Dolls!
I wanted to share with you a FOTD from 2 weeks ago when I went to the Fair with my family. I wanted to try out some of my new products, Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Vigorous Violet and my NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Pigments.
My Mini Review:
This was my first time try out my new Revlon Vigorous Violet and at first I liked the way it looked. It had really pretty sparkles and glitter in it, but then when it started drying it got really, really sticky. I can't stand sticky lipglosses. It was so sticky and tacky!!!
Even though I did not like the stickiness of the lipstick I did like that fact that it stayed on my lips the whole day. I applied it at 3:00 pm for the Fair and I got home at 10:01 pm. So it stayed on for 7 hours. I ate, drinked laughed and kissed and it lasted all day!

Nicki Minaj's MAC Pink Friday Lipstick
Last week my Nicki Minaj's MAC Pink Friday lipstick came in the mail and I was soooo happy! When I first heard that Nicki Minaj was collaborating with MAC to create a lipstick I just couldn't wait for it to come out. The lipstick was being coincide with the release of her Pink Friday Album on November 22nd. When I found out it was going to be a collaboration to create a custom Barbie pink I was even more excited.
Pink Friday is described as a Bright creamy pink. It is a Satin finish so that means it has no shimmer in it and is a creamy to semi-matte finish.
Here's a swatch of Pink Friday Lipstick
Here's a few pictures of me wearing Pink Friday
Here's a few pictures of me wearing Pink Friday

The Good
You don't own a pink like this! The good thing about Pink Friday is that it is a unique pink. It's a bright pale pink color but has a purple undertone. I noticed it right away when I swatched it on my hand. In the tube it looks like a deeper tone pink but when applied it was actually paler.
Color: 4 out of 5
Formula: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Quality: 4 out of 5
Price: $14.50
The Bad
Because it is a very opaque color on the lips it can look alittle chalky. And we all know when your a Women of Color you don't want anything chalky on your lips because it could look like crust on your lips. So definitely exfoliate your lips and moisturize them really well before apply.
It is extremely Limited Edition! It was only sold for 4 Fridays this year (November 26, December 3, December 10, and December 17) so if you missed anyone of those Fridays than your out of luck!

My Overall Opinion
I Love me some Nicki Minaj! I love the fact that she is so different! I love her music, her theatrical personality and even her Gorgeous makeup! (Her makeup is always on point) BUT however I wasn't to much loving her Pink Friday lipstick. I was so excited to get this lipstick and even missed 2 Fridays trying to get it because it sold out than to actually get it and try it on only to not really like it on myself :/ I like the texture of the lipstick because it feels so creamy on my lips but I thought the color was way to chalky for my Skin tone. I am an NW45 in MAC and Cappuccino in Revlon and against my skin tone it was very chalky and milky. I liked the color when I swatched it but I did not like the way it looked on me. This is just my opinion (others might say different) but if your lighter than an NW43 I think this would look better against your skin tone. However I did like the fact that it looks like it has a purple undertone in it, so it would look great with a purple tone lipliner or gloss.
If you dolls missed the chance to snatch up Pink Friday Lipstick great dupes are MAC Lavender Whip Lipstick or MAC Snob Lipstick!
Thank you for stopping by and reading my blog! I love you dolls so much! Ya'll truly keep a huge smile on my face ;0)
love

Maybelline ColorSensation Lipsticks
Hey Dolls!
How are ya'll doing? I hope great ;0)
I wanted to share some great lipsticks that I have been loving! I've been hooked on these lipsticks for some time now and I cant seem to put them down. Maybelline has created these great lipsticks called ColorSensation Lipsticks.
They come in 48 shades and I own 5 of them. (I definitely plan on buying more lol)Maybelline ColorSensation Lipcolors are broken down into 4 categories: Neutrals, Pinks, Plums, and Reds. I purchased Totally Toffee, Mauve-ulous, Hooked on Pink, Very Cherry, and Red Revival.
What I love about these lipsticks...
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET, the color in the tube is the same extact color you get on your lips.
The honey nectar in the lipsticks truly make them the creamiest lipsticks I've ever tried.
The staying power is okay, they don't stay on forever but the longest I've had it on was 2 hours.
They glide on your lips for a sheer coverage, but you can also build up the coverage.
I also like that the tops are the colors based off the color family they are from. I think that is so cute ;0)
Totally Toffee
The color I purchased from the "neutral" category is called Totally Toffee, which is a beige-pink color.
Mauve-ulous

I purchased a shade in the "Plum" category called Mauve-ulous, which is a light Plum color.
Hooked on Pink

From the "Pink" category I purchased Hooked on Pink, which is a hot pink color.
Very Cherry

The shade I purchased from the "Red" category is called Very Cherry, which is a Bright red color.
Red Revival

I purchased a second red from the "Red" category called Red Revival, which is the perfect red.
If you've tried any of the Maybelline ColorSensation Lipsticks let me know what colors you own and if you like them or not?
