NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil Swatches

Hey Dolls!

I've missed you guys so much!

I apologize for the lack of bloggin I've been job hunting once again! Omg it feels like never ending I've been looking for a job for 2 months now but I do believe that God has a plan for everything so I will be paitent and wait to see what doors open up for me ;0)

Okay so on to the good stuff! Everyone and there momma knows what "milk" means and no Im not talking about the milk you drink! Lol Im talking about NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Milk. Im am hooked on these eyeshdow pencils. I first learned about them from youtube. I saw so, so, so many makeup grur using something called a milk pencil and I was curious to find out what it was.

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencils are creamy eyeshadow pencils that are used for Bases under your eyeshadow. They are also used as Bases under pigments and glitter too. If your unfimilar what a base is I have a previous post on Bases (Click here to see that post). They are also used to make your eyeshadow pop for instance if you using a Purple eyeshadow it will make your Purple more vibrant and bright.

NYX states that they do not crease but I have to be honest they do crease, so you have to use a Primer underneath them and make sure you blend them out really good. They are really creamy and can get messy when you apply them. Some people like to use there fingers to apply and others like to use a concealer brush.

NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Penicls

They come in over 27 shades and they are super cheap. I buy mines from Cherryculture.com and play only $3.50 each but I also have heard that you can find them cheaper for as little as $2. You can also get them from nyxcosmetics.com

I have 8 of them, but I dont have my Brown one yet because Im waiting for it in the mail I just ordered it from cherryculture.com last week.

Milk- Matte White

Black Bean- Creamy Black

Pots n Pans- Matte Silver

Gold- Frosty Gold

Wet 'n Wild Vanity Color Icon Palette: Swatches + Look

Hey Dolls!

Today features the 2nd instalment of my Wet 'n Wild Color Icon Palette series. The Wet 'n Wild Vanity Color Icon palette is full of great neutral colors like Brown, Gold and Bronze tones. Just like the Lust palette the Vanity palette is smooth and creamy to the touch, but the only difference I've notice is when trying to pick up the Gold color it wouldn't pick up a lot of product on my brush. I had to dig and dig until I got some on my brush, but the other colors were easier to pick up and apply.

*The touch of the shadows are very smooth and creamy! I love the texture of them because even though they were matte eyeshadows they didn't feel dry or chalky

*The price is great, there very affordable! You wouldn't think with how great the pigmentation is that they would be under $5

Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara

Hey Dolls!

Maybelline came out witht this new mascara called "The Faslies". I finally got around to buying it a couple of weeks ago but I hadn’t used it yet. Well, today I decided to use it and give you guys a quick little review on it.

Photobucket

Product: 5 out of 5
Packaging: 5 out of 5
Quality: 5 out of 5

Would I buy it again? Yes
Where to buy? Target, CVS, Wal-mart, and any other store they sell Maybelline products

Pricing: $5.00 I got mines on sale at Wal-mart

The Good

I really love the fuchsia and turquoise color of the tube! (Lol... turquoise is my favor color ;0) Maybelline always comes up with great colors for their tubes, like the Colossal Volum' Express tube was a bright yellow.

My lashes are very short and curly and I loved how the mascara made my lashes looked like I had a pretty good length and it straighten them out a little. I haven’t been wowed by a lot of mascaras but Maybelline has always been a reliable mascara for me.

The Bed
I really didn’t find anything bad about it. It worked just like any other mascara.

Photobucket
The Left eye has Maybelline The Falsies on it and the Right eye has no mascara

Overall:
My overall opinion is even though "The Falsies" mascara didn’t make my real eyelashes look like false eyelashes I did still really like the mascara.

Thanks for stopping by!

Seond row: Exotic Bloom, Infinty, Dark Truffle, and Carbon

The Good
-I love how the colors are so pigmented and vibrant.
-Most mineral eyeshadows you have to apply a base to pick up the color, but the colors were very pigmented and I didnt need to apply a base.

The Bad-I didnt find anything that I didnt like about the eyesahdows.

Where can I purchase Raving Beauty Cosmetics? www.ravingbeautycosmetics.ecrater.com

How much are they? Eyeshadows come in a 5 gram jar for $5.00 or a sample eyeshadow in a zip lock baggie for $1.00

A HUGE thanks to Annette for making Raving Beauty Cosmetics!

‘till next time Dolls!
