Hey Dolls!

How is everyone doing? I hope feeling Great and looking Fab! Hope ya'll had a great 4th of July celebration. I had 2 celebrations and I will be posting photos soon. I just wanted to share will ya'll a haul post of some items I've been wanting to try.

Here is a collective Drugstore haul. These are some items that I picked up in the month of June.

Target Haul: Sonia Kashuk, Maybelline, L'oreal and CoverGirl Queen Collection

Hey Dolls!

As I've mention before on Saturday me and my boyfriend went out to eat and the movies, but we always went to Target and I picked out a few items.

1. Sonia Kashuk Limited edition Kabuki brush

2. CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural hue mineral pressed powder in Ebony Bronze 2

3. Maybelline Define-a-brow Eyebrow pencil in Dark Brown (my favor)

4. L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black

I Love Sonia Kashuk makeup brushes so when I saw she had some Limited edition ones out I grabbed it so fast because her Limited edition brushes sale out fast. CoverGirl Queen Collection products are my favorite and I own a foundation but not a pressed powder so I thought it would be good to try a new powder and I also wanted to try a new mascara! Im always wearing Maybelline mascaras so I wanted to branch out and try a different company. And you Dolls know I had to buy my favorite eyebrow pencil... My boyfriend was like, "dont you already have one at home?" Lol and I said yes baby I do but it's never a bad thing to have back ups :0)

Papaya Haul

Hey Dolls!

Last week I went to the mall with my family and my boyfriend and we did alittle shopping. Im not a big fan of warm weather but I do love wearing dresses and skirts when its warm.

The closest mall to where I live at is alittle over an hour away and they only have 2 clothing stores and thats Papaya and Rue 21. I really wanted to go to Charlotte Russe but thats in awhole nother mall so I just stuck with Papaya. I cant seem to never find anything in Rue 21 that I like so I just brought a necklace. And from Papaya I got a black and white stripped dress that came with a brown belt and a Floral print skirt with a white tee.

I just loved the different colors in the skirt and I also loved that it has pockets, and the buttons were cute too.

Puffy ruffles sleeve shirts are my favorite right now. I own 3 different color shirts like this!

Here's the necklace I got from Rue 21. It cost me $12.00

Haul Time!!!

Hey Dolls!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I had a really good weekend. I did a lot of shopping with my mom this weekend, because as you guys know I'm in the process of moving. So before I move I've been racking up on things because where I'm moving to they don't have any stores that I shop at near by. My favorite places to shop are Forever 21, Windors, MAC, Sephora, Reflections, and Target. And where I'm moving to have none of these stores near by... Thank goodness for on-line shopping ;0)

Well let's get to the goodies I picked up...

FOREVER 21

At Forever I got a Blue Blazer for $22.80, a Black Hat for $6.80 (I got my mom one too, she loves hats) a Black and white stripped Cardigan for $12.50, a pair of Jeans for $14.50, a Black dress(not in the picture)for $13.80 and 2 Rings.

STYLES 4 LESS

At Styles I brought a Gray Sweater for $16.99 and a black wallet for $11.99. I loved the wallet I thought it was a plain black wallet with ruffles but than when I opened the wallet it had a pink flower prints inside. So cute ;0)

TARGET

I made 2 trips to Target. On my 1st trip I brought 2 Maybelline Color Sensation Lipsticks each for $5.04, an e.l.f. eyeshadow brush for $3.00, a L'Oreal HIP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor in Reserved for $10.00, and another IMAN Second to None Stick Foundation in Earth 4 for $14.99.

For my 2nd trip to Target (I completely forgot to take a picture) I got some e.l.f makeup remover wipes, e.l.f. brightening eyeliner pencil in Black, and e.l.f. Liquid eyeliner in Black, another e.l.f. eyeshadow brush and 2 Wet 'n Wild eyeshadow palettes for $4.99 each.

MAC
At MAC I just brought the new MAC Pro Longwear Foundation that everyone has been raving about! I will do a review soon.

I also went to Ross but I just brought a plan white long sleeve top and from Reflections I brought some Black suede boots for $20.00

Mini Haul + Swatches

Hey Dolls!

Here are a couple of things I picked up this month. I brought 2 NYX Blushes and a IMAN Lipstick that I saw featured in ESSENCE Magazine.

NYX Blushes- Pecan and Terra Cotta

There both packed with Shimmer and I really like them because I was looking for colors to use for Highlighting the cheek bone and these two were perfect.
The NYX Pecan Blush looks great on Dark skin tones and the NYX Terra Cotta Blush looks beautiful against light to medium skin tones.

IMAN Lipstick- Wild Thing



IMAN Wild Thing Lipstick is a Deepen Red/Burgundy color.

Tiny Haul: MAC Cosmetics

Hey Dolls!

I hope everyone is having a great Monday. Happy Memorial Day!!

Usually Mondays are a day that most people aren’t looking forward too because they have to go back to work or school. And sometimes I feel that way too, but not today, today is a day filled with family, BBQ, and good times. My Monday started off great because last week I got my MAC package. I ordered 3 things from MAC. I order a lipstick and 2 eyeshadows.


Here’s what I order:


MAC Crème Cup Lipstick
$14.00


The Crème cup lipstick is a very pale pink color. The MAC Crème cup Lipstick also reminds me a lot like my Viva Glam Gaga lipstick. It’s pale pink just like the gaga lipstick but the crème cup lipstick is a little bit creamier. I will be doing a post soon on how to wear MACs Crème cup Lipstick. I’ve seen like 4 or 5 different ways on Youtube how to wear this lipstick and I would love to show WOC how it can be worn, because looking at it in the tube can be freighting to some WOC who have never worn a pink like this before.

MACs Sable eyeshadow

The MAC Sable eyeshadow is such a pretty brown color and I plan to use it for a daytime smokey eye look. I will be posting the look soon as a Face of the Day post. So, stay tuned for that look.

MACs Dreammaker eyeshadow

As for the MACs Dreammaker eyeshadow I purchased it because last week I was watching a video on Youtube and the makeup guru had said she uses a MAC eyeshadow color called, Dreammaker as a highlight for cheekbones. She said the eyeshadow color is so beautiful against Women of Color skin tone and it makes a great highlighter. I don’t own a highlighter shade yet and I really want to get into highlighting and contouring my skin and I had been meaning to buy one, so I decided to give Dreammaker a try.

MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick

Hey Dolls!

So, I got a new lipstick from MAC called Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick. Okay I have to warn you this lipstick is very, very light pink and when I first saw it I was like there’s no way that lipstick is going to look good with my skin tone so I didn’t buy it at first. Then one of my favorite makeup guru on Youtube, MakeupDoll made a video title, How to Wear: MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick (Women of Color Friendly). I really loved the video she made because it shows Women of Color that they are able to wear this lipstick and how they can wear the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick. After watching her video I went back to the MAC store and bought it! Also what I really love about the Viva Glam lipsticks are that all proceeds go to MAC AIDS/HIV Foundation.
